Best known as the front man for the Klitschko brothers K2 Promotions, Tom Loeffler is starting his own promotional company. While being owned by Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, K2 is most known recently from current middleweight king Gennady Golovkin.
Loeffler who has helped guide the career of Golovkin said the name of his company will be 360 Promotions. It’ll feature a circuit in southern California starting next spring. Loeffler is looking to sign new fighters under his banner but will remain associated with Golovkin as well as other K2 fighter’s.
“The reason to start the new company is that GGG Promotions will do all of Gennady’s fights, K2 will do (Oleksandr) Usyk’s and Cecilia Braekus fights, in conjunction with K2 Ukraine for Usyk and 360 will give me more and leeway to sign other fighters.” Loeffler told BoxingScene.
The HBO Super Fly 2 card is expected to be the first card under 360 Promotions with the California circuit to begin in March with five shows in 2017.
