Tri-Star Boxing’s Bourbon & Boxing Is Back With Prospect Stacked Card!

Tri-Star Boxing is back with its second installment of its Bourbon & Boxing Fight Series October 23 live from Oak Grove Racing & Gaming Hotel in Oak Grove, Kentucky. The Nashville based promotion has assembled a fantastic card showcasing a host of high level prospects, and well traveled veterans.

Returning to the same venue less then 60 days after the inaugural Bourbon & Boxing event, Tri-Star Boxing has mid-south fight fans buzzing about their product. The first installment, co-promoted by Lou DiBella, and headlined by Ty Tomlin was a major success for all parties and racked up 200,000 viewers on volume.com.

Riding the momentum of an incredible year, Tri-Star Boxing is one of the fastest growing promotions in the business, and has become somewhat of a home for some of the best unsigned talent to gain exposure and master their craft.

“This card is so deep, we have a lot of top prospects. Demontaze Duncan, Robert Magee, and Deangelo Leachman were all exceptional amateurs in the USA boxing system prior to turning pro and they all look to remain undefeated on this card. Ryan Shaw has proven to be one of the most exciting little guys in the business and I can’t wait to see him back in action. We can’t forget Rydell Mayes who is on the verge of becoming a true contender in the cruiserweight division. For a guy with limited amateur experience, Tri-Star boxing has done a fantastic job growing Rydell into not just a draw, but a well-rounded fighter. I believe all of these guys have bright futures in this business and you can see them all in one night.” ~ Tanner Gill, Tri-Star Matchmaker

Also on the card you can find world level veteran Luis Galarza, durable 60-fight road warrior Dedrick Bell, and a rematch between prospect Eduardo “Chachi” Aguilar and veteran spoiler Tyrone Luckey.

Tri-Star head honcho Matt Young has truly invested in his product with the intention of giving young fighters a place to showcase their talents, and it appears to be paying off. Running at a level and frequency only obtainable by the top promotions in the business, Young has quickly become a “player” in the world of boxing.

“We’re excited to be back at Oak Grove Racing and Gaming, it really is a fantastic venue and we look forward to rocking the house again. So whether you will be live in attendance or watching free on volume.com/tristarboxing, I urge you to tune into Bourbon & Boxing 2 as it promises to deliver. I am very proud of the team I have assembled here at Tri-Star Boxing and if we continue to grow at the rate we have been, there’s no limit on how far we can take this” ~ Matt Young speaking on the event

Not only does it promise to be a night of good fights, through their partnership with volume.com, Tri-Star boxing also incorporates live musical acts into the show. Everyone from Kingpin Skinny Pimp to The Voice and American Idol runner up Preston James can be seen on a Tri-Star show, and this time, Electra Mustaine and Carly Rogers rock the stage. So tune in October 23 to see what one of fastest rising promotions in the US has in store for fight fans.
