Tyson Fury One Step Closer To Return

Fury waiting on medical clearance

Former World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury took a step closer to a comeback today. His suspension is set to be lifted by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) ‘subject to receipt and clearance of all medical requirements.

The BBBofC suspended Fury’s license in 2016 because of ‘anti-doping and medical issues’. We’ve not seen the self-proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’ since he shocked the world by dethroning Wladimir Klitschko in Germany in November 2015.

We know that Fury reapplied for his license following a tweet from him on January 10th. His intention being to defend his Ring Magazine title in April.

I for one hope to see Fury in a ring very soon and hopefully in a big fight with fellow Brit Anthony Joshua as he aims to win back the belts he never lost in the ring.
