Jessie Vargas hopeful of ring return by March 2019
Former WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas who’s coming off a disheartening draw on October 6 against Thomas Dulorme is looking to return in early 2019.
Vargas, who suffered multiple cuts in that fight, will have to sit out until those cuts heal.
A win against Dulorme would’ve placed him in the driver seat for a shot against WBA Super champion Keith Thurman. Instead he now has to regroup and wait for another opportunity.
