Shadasia Green vs Crews-Dezurn WBC Eliminator Ordered!

In a twist of events, the WBC has just ordered a fight between super middleweight mandatory challenger Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green (13-0, 11 KO’s) and former undisputed 168-pound champion Franchon “The Heavy-Hitting Diva” Crews-Dezurn (8-2, 2 KO’s). Originally Green was slated to face then undisputed super middleweight champion Savannah Marshall. This was until Marshall had to withdraw due to injury.

In fact, Marshall had just beaten Crews-Dezurn in her last fight, on July 1, to become undisputed in the first place. This in and of itself was a lucky break because in the fight directly prior to the duel with The Heavy-Hitting Diva, Marshall dropped a unanimous decision loss to undisputed middleweight champion Claressa Shields. Therefore it will be revealing to see when Marshall returns to the squared-circle and in what shape.

THE TABLES HAVE TURNED AGAIN!

The recently announced fight also throws Green and Crews-Dezurn back into a collision with one another. This is because, prior to hopping in the ring with Marshall, The Heavy-Hitting Diva was close to signing on the dotted line to face Green. Now with Marshall sidelined with her physical ailment, Crews-Dezurn and The Sweet Terminator can finally get in the ring and settle the matter of who is better, once and for all.

Obviously, if Crews-Dezurn wins, this all would have been a very fortuitous course of events for her. This is because it was fairly unlikely that she would have gotten another title shot so quickly if Marshall was still healthy and retained all her hardware. Now, The Heavy-Hitting Diva has the opportunity to hop back in the win column, grab a strap and be perfectly positioned to challenge Marshall again when she returns to action. Or, perhaps Green will leave her dusted and disgusted for the second consecutive fight. Thankfully, no matter which way the cookie crumbles, 3Kings Boxing will be here to report all the aftermath!
