WBSS – No TV Deal? No Problem.
This Saturday, November 3 the Quarterfinals of the World Boxing Super Series continues. The event will take place in Glasgow, Scotland at The SSE Hydro. DAZN will broadcast the exciting night of fights for fans in the USA.
However, for viewers in the United Kingdom, things will be slightly different.
Promoter and co-founder of the WBSS, Kalle Sauerland, announced that there is no UK television deal in place to showcase Saturday’s intriguing matchups. Alternatively, UK fight fans can watch all the action for free! The World Boxing Super Series website/YouTube channel will showcase the fight night.
The action-packed card will feature undefeated super lightweights Josh Taylor and Ryan Martin colliding for Taylor’s WBA “Super” title. Additionally, Ryan Burnett (19-0, KOs) will defend his WBA “Super” World Bantamweight title against Nonito Donaire (38-5, 24 KOs).
It seems streaming has saved the day for viewers who otherwise wouldn’t be able to enjoy the fights.
