Carlos Adames Aiming To Steamroll Terrell Gausha
In the fight game, to be successful there is no doubt that one has to be self-confident and a bit brazen. In this regard, WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames (23-1, 18 KO’s) has firmly checked both boxes. His conviction in toppling his upcoming foe, Terrell Gausha (24-3-1, 12 KO’s), has been expressed loud and clear in the pre-fight hype.
In fact, the Dominican champion has every intention of playing the role of Freddy Krugger when the open bell clangs.
“I can tell you that he is pissed off because he doesn’t imagine what it’s going to be like to have me in front of him. It’s going to be a total nightmare for Terrell and he is going to wish that I wasn’t in front of him because it’s going to be a great fight and he doesn’t really realize what he is going to be up against!”

GET DOWN OR LAY DOWN!
Roughly one year ago to the day, Adames fought and stopped one-time unified super welterweight champion Julian Williams to secure the interim WBC 160-pound strap. Since that victorious affair, Adames, 30, has been elevated to the full champion.
Therefore, it is not a great surprise that the heavy-handed Dominican champion is feeling himself, such as he is. Toting a near eighty percent knockout ratio certainly doesn’t hurt his self-perception either!
Regardless of his past accomplishments, Adames now has the burden of proof on his shoulders. Will he be able to slide through the ropes and devastate Gausha in the swift and brutal fashion that he professes that he will? Or, will Gausha become the sturdy immovable hurdle that he is promising to be? In either case, the answer is just around the corner!
