Terrell Gausha Intends to Feed Carlos Adames His Brash Words
When Terrell Gausha (24-3-1, 12 KO’s) next slides into the ring, he’ll be shooting for his third straight win since last losing to Tim Tszyu. In this next duel however, versus WBC middleweight Carlos Adames (23-1, 18 KO’s), Gausha will be fighting for respect, more than anything else.
This mind state came to the forefront due to what Gausha feels was a dismissive attitude displayed by his Dominican adversary. The Cleveland, Ohio native spoke at greater length about his feelings at the final presser to the showdown.
“He really pissed me off when he said that he is going to knock me out early. I ain’t like that! I don’t think he take it serious, but I am here to fight and that is not happening! But he really fired me up when he said that, so he is going to have a fight on his hands come Saturday night!”
SHOW ME THEN!
To bolster Gausha’s viewpoint, despite having amassed three losses on his professional ledger, he has never been stopped. Although, he has touched the canvas, as he did in his battles versus Luis Hernandez and Erislandy Lara. On the flip side however, Adames might very well be feeling this confident as he is looking for this third straight knockout. Going a step further, the Dominican bruiser has claimed four stoppages in his last five fights.
Paying his opponent’s destructive accomplishments no heed, Gausha remains focused on securing the win and serving Adames a bloody slice of humble pie.
“I don’t care [if he’s underestimating me]. I don’t know, but it don’t matter to me. I’m there to do the job that I came to do. He fired me up when he said he is going to knock me out. And he keep talking about his power; I fought all kinds of fighters, so I don’t care about that, either!”

WHAT YOU GOING TO DO?!
Given how miffed Gausha was upon hearing the belittling forecast of Adames, it will be interesting to see how he handles himself in the ring. Will the #10 (WBC) ranked pugilist successfully reign over his emotions and fight with a controlled rage? Or, will he see red and let his rage compel him to wage a foolish head-first war?
Only time will tell. Yet thankfully for Gausha and fight fans, this bad blood brawl is just around the corner!
