Adrien Broner Responds to Ivan Redkach Trolling

Earlier in July, regular WBA world lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis (23-0, 22 KO’s) unwittingly lit a social media fire under welterweight contender Ivan “El Terrible” Redkach (23-5-1, 18 KO’s). He did so by releasing unauthorized footage of their July sparring session.

After expressing his displeasure with Tank for putting the one-sided video up for public consumption, he also stated he was not out of his mind with rage either. Redkach even went so far as to say that he wanted to get in some more sparring with the Maryland native. Before long however, wild card fighter Adrien “The Problem” Broner (33-4-1, 24 KO’s) had to get in on the fun

EXPLAIN TO ME, I’M FUNNY HOW?!

Via live Instagram feed, Broner openly guffawed at how Tank was able to lay such a beating on Redkach. Then the former four-division world champion theorized out loud that had he and Redkach ever stepped in the ring together, he would have left him dusted and disgusted in little to no time at all.

As of Broner dispatching his video, Redkach had already uploaded a few posts of his own poking fun at Davis. Yet, when Broner said his piece, Redkach turned his attention full blast on The Problem. The Ukrainian fighter proceeded to post a number of videos; some were of him striking pictures of Broner, in others he showed clips of AB losing to Marcos “El Chino” Maidana (35-5, 31 KO’s). He also trolled the Cincinnati loose cannon in several comment threads.

BEEN HERE BEFORE

Initially, Broner did not acknowledge what Redkach was doing whatsoever. Obviously though, the constant heckling has finally gotten under AB’s skin and forced his hand to respond. In a Twitter thread, Broner informed El Terrible that he would put the paws on him if the trolling continued.

Just about one year ago to the day, Broner and Redkach were on the verge of penning a welterweight showdown. Before they could make it to the ring however, the talks imploded and AB retired. He has not returned to the ring since. Perhaps now this new antagonizing will be sufficient enough to inspire Broner to dust off his trunks and settle his on-going beef with Redkach once and for all.
