Ancajas vs Sultan Looking At California

IBF super flyweight title bout headed to Indio or Fresno

Well, looks like Jerwin Ancajas (29-1-1,20KO’s) vs Jonas Sultan (14-3,9KO’s) will once again get a new venue. The contest was originally scheduled for this past weekend in Las Vegas on the undercard of Terence Crawford vs Jeff Horn but the entire card was postponed following an injury suffered by Crawford.

The fight then got a new date of May 26th and was scheduled to take place in Las Vegas but at a smaller venue. Now, 3KingsBoxing.com has learned that the event will likely be moved to California.

The contest will be for Ancajas’s IBF Super Flyweight Title and I’m sure both guys are eager to get in the ring. Ancajas has been a bright spot showing tremendous talent in arguably boxing’s best division.

WBA super flyweight champion Khalid Yafai is expected to be added to the card as well in an attempt to build a possible unification showdown. He is likely to face former world title challenger David Carmona.
