Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury Trade Words on Social Media!
Things are extremely tense and frustrating for all parties involved in the Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury negotiations. After being on the brink of an official announcement that the highly anticipated undisputed clash was set for August 14, in Saudi Arabia, Judge Daniel Weinstein would halt that by ruling former WBC champion Deontay Wilder was owed a third fight with Fury.
THE BEEF CONTINUES
Unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-1, 22KOs) who’s normally reserved, took to his social media account to air out his frustrations with Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21KOs). With their fight looking more and more unlikely, the three-belt holder accused his counterpart of being a fraud.
Of course Fury, not one to remain silent, fired back, challenging Joshua to a bare-knuckle fight.
Joshua would also reply implying that Fury really wasn’t about a bare-knuckle throw-down!
“If there was an arbitration going on, why announce to the world we are fighting! The fight was signed! UNDISPUTED! Bare knuckle? You’re a good kid, don’t play with me Luke!
“I’ll slap your bald head and you’ll do nothing! Waste man.”
Frustrations are rising at an all-time high! This brief social media tussle was highly entertaining. Fans and boxing enthusiasts could only imagine how entertaining the actual build up of the fight would have been. Unfortunately, it does not appear we will get a chance to find out. At least, not for now.
