Aston Brown Destroys Fearghus Quinn With Ease
If you went to the refrigerator to get a beer, you might have missed this one as Scottish middleweight Aston Brown (7-0, 2 KOs) turned on the power and stopped previously unbeaten Fearghus Quinn (9-1, 3 KOs) in two rounds.
Quinn was the aggressor at the opening bell, landing some solid left hands and right hooks in the first half of round one. But in the final minute of the opening round, you could see Brown start to warm up and see the openings to land with shots.
At the crack of round two, Brown started to find a home with his right hand. Twenty seconds into the round, the Scot landed with back-to-back-right hands, the second of which put Quinn down on the seat of his pants.
Though Quinn got up, he was very wobbly on his feet. The referee felt he was unfit to continue and waved the fight over. It was a stunning win for Brown, who is becoming a name to keep an eye on in the middleweight division.
