Duval Stops Ezequiel Palaversic In Impressive Fashion
Lightweight prospect “The Future” Avery Martin Duval (11-0-1, 7KO) completely outgunned Ezequiel Palaversic (8-3-1, 4KO) in four quick rounds.
The Future, a gifted amateur, used his handspeed, footwork, and that stiff power jab to perfection. In addition, he was landing sharp counter-punches while switching from orthodox to southpaw with ease.
As the fight continued, Duval was finding a home for different variations of the right hand. Palaversic tried to fight back by getting inside but was hit with painful uppercuts and hooks.
Realizing his opponent was ready to go, Duval turned up the offense and landed several hard shots that put the Argentinian on one knee. The Canadian didn’t hold back as Palaversic got up. He landed more hard right hands and hooks that put his opponent back on the canvas.
Palaversic got back up again but the referee, after carefully examining his body language, decided to call an end to the fight in the fourth round. This was an excellent showing by the undefeated prospect who showed why there is a buzz around his name in Canada.
Duval has the talent and skillset to compete in a stacked lightweight division. It won’t be long before he is ranked within the top 15 by one of the sanctioning bodies.
