Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Reportedly Working on Fall Clash!

It’s no secret that welterweight boxer Conor “The Destroyer” Benn (21-0, 14 KO’s) and middleweight fighter Chris “Next Gen” Eubank Jr (32-2, 23 KO’s) are in need of a dance partner. The two have even traded words with one another. Yet, despite their verbal exchanges, nothing of much note has transpired. At least, not until now.

According to the Daily Star, the two men are close to reaching an agreement on a fall showdown. If the alleged plan of action maintains the course, Benn and Eubank Jr are aiming to clash with one another on October 8 in London under the hot lights of the O2 Arena. Ranked #4 (WBO), #4 (WBA), #5 (IBF) and #5 (WBC), Benn has already staged one fight on the year versus Chris van Heerden. Benn quickly prevailed by way of second round stoppage.

To his credit, Eubank Jr picked up a wide unanimous decision over the tough Liam Williams. Ranked #1 (WBA), #2 (WBO) and #3 (WBC), Eubank Jr has been fruitlessly searching for a meaningful fight for a little while now. This is why a potential dustup between the two athletes could be very beneficial for them and the boxing public at large. While their fight is still unofficial, Benn has already taken to his social media outlets to announce that a big fight date is close to being announced. No matter who that turns out to be with, 3Kings Boxing will be there to report the news.
