Bill Haney Responds to Tank Davis’ Ferrari Demand
Bill Haney wasted no time responding to WBA lightweight champion Abdul “Tank” Wahid, widely known as Gervonta Davis (29-0, 27KO). Additionally, he wants to know if giving Tank what he wants will help secure a fight with his son, WBC junior welterweight champion Devin “The Dream” Haney (31-0, 15KO).
Tank had social media buzzing after demanding two Ferraris as a starting point in hopes of making a fight in the Middle East against The Dream. Some boxing fans accused the WBA champion of pricing himself out before talks could even get started.
TWO IMPORTANT QUESTIONS
The elder Haney, who is the father and chief second to The Dream, quickly took to social media with two very important questions for the Baltimore power puncher.
“AsalamAlaikum, My brother, what color Ferraris? Will this secure Davis vs Haney??”
Bill Haney
Despite believing Davis isn’t a tough task for his son, the elder Haney is not letting up on making the fight a reality. He continues to accuse the WBA champion and member of Team Davis of not wanting to make the fight.
The reality is these two camps will keep going back and forth, but they never come close to fighting. It is reaching a point where the boxing world may have to ignore these callouts until they finally step into the squared circle.
In fairness, Tank expressed wanting to fight the WBC champion, promising to make his father cry from watching his son take a beating.
Haney versus Davis is a big fight there is no denying that, but fans are growing tired of all the talk and want to see them settle things in the ring.
