Let the war begin!
Oh boy! With just a little over two months to go before their highly anticipated rematch promoters of both fighters are giving the fans a lot of pre-fight trash talk.
Tom Loeffler (promoter for Golovkin) had a message for Canelo:
Less Mexican Meat, More Mexican Style!
Ouch! That had to sting just a little bit. We all know where the hatred for one another stems from.
About a month and half before their scheduled May rematch news broke that Canelo had tested positive for Clenbuterol, that in turn caused much controversy which led to Canelo pulling out of the fight.
Fast forward to now, with everything signed, sealed and delivered the gloves have come off and the verbal warfare has started. With both men vowing to dominate in the rematch and De la Hoya saying that Canelo has no respect for Golovkin.
While this trash talk is entertaining and helping build more intrigue and excitement for their rematch. Let’s hope that the action in the ring surpasses this and gives the fans a fight to remember.
