Carroll will face Frenois in final IBF super featherweight eliminator.
Unbeaten Jono Carroll (16-0, 3KO) will take on Guillaume Frenois (46-1, 12KO) in an IBF title eliminator in December. The winner will face the victor of IBF champion Tevin Farmer (26-4-1, 5KO) vs #6 ranked James Tennyson (22-2, 18KO) on October 20.
Carroll defeated Declan Geraghty by ninth round TKO in an Irish dust up in June. At 26 year-old and six years in as a professional, he has only fought outside of the U.K. three times. Regardless, he currently holds the IBF European and Inter-Continental titles.
The 35 year-old Frenois out of France is coming off a fourth round knockout over Michal Dufek. His only loss came from former EBU champion Devis Boschiero in September 2013. He has since been on a fifteen fight win streak, however, all of them took place within his home country against limited opposition.
