Terence Crawford says Kell Brook has to live up to his words
In the build-up to his November 14 dust-up with WBO world welterweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford (36-0, 27 KO’s), Kell “Special K” Brook (39-2, 27 KO’s) has exuded great confidence. Now, he has stepped his tough talk up a notch or two. When discussing how he thought the fight would play out, Brook stated that he would either knockout Crawford or make him quit.

If done, that would make for one memorable spectacle! At this point in his career, Bud is undefeated and has never even been put down on the canvas. While he has been buzzed before, Crawford has never been in any extreme trouble in the ring. This is what makes Brooks statement all the more brazen.
TALK IS CHEAP, PROVE IT!!
When asked about his opinion about the daring declaration, the laid-back Nebraskan did not break character whatsoever. While conducting a virtual roundtable presser, Crawford simply threw on a sly smile when he heard the words. Clearly not phased by the threat, Bud merely stated that talk is cheap.
“Well, lets see! Words don’t mean nothing, you are going to have to really live up to them words that you say you’re actually going to do…he is supposed to feel that way coming into one of the biggest fights of his career. He is not the only opponent that went into a fight believing that they were going to stop me or knock me out. So, that’s nothing new for me, he is just going to have to live up to his words.”
It will be interesting to see how the prizefight unfolds once both combatants are in the ring. Can Brook use his size and experience to topple one of the pound-for-pound best in the sport? Or, will Bud continue his mean streak in the ring and show Special K in brutal fashion why he is the champ?
