Terence Crawford has a message for Errol Spence!
Reigning WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford in a recent interview with TMZ Sports gave his assessment of the Errol Spence vs Shawn Porter fight and sent a special message to the unified champion.
On who he thought won the fight
“It was a close fight. Don’t get me wrong. I wouldn’t say it was a big-time robbery. But, it was a close fight and if I had to give anybody the victory, I think Shawn deserved it.”
Crawford isn’t in the minority as there are people who feel Porter did enough to secure the victory despite being knocked down in the eleventh round.
Now in the aftermath, the attention of most fans is on Spence vs Crawford; the consensus top two guys at welterweight.
Crawford who’s extremely confident in his ability to dethrone the unified champion says he feels that Spence knows what’s ahead of him when the inevitable match-up happens.
“I honestly believe when it comes to him deep down in his heart, he knows what he’s up against when he goes up against me.”
Many people feel that the versatile switch-hitter is the biggest threat to Spence and his welterweight reign. He sent a blistering and disrespectful direct message to his counterpart.
“Take off them panties and pull your pants up, and let’s sign the contract!”
Hopefully these words from Crawford speeds up the process of getting this fight done as fans are growing restless of the meaningless back and forth between the two guys. 2020 is the time for these two men to stop talking and fight and settle who’s really the big dog at 147.
