Danny Garcia and Mikey Garcia are both possible for Manny Pacquiao!

Boy how one fight can change a fighters fortune! Even a guaranteed future Hall Of Fame inductee like Manny Pacquiao.

On July 20, the eight division champion turned back the clock again as he dropped and defeated the previously unbeaten champion Keith Thurman to take the WBA Super strap away.

Now back in a familiar position as champion, the living legend has a plethora of options. Two of which are guys who share the surname but are of no relation: Mikey Garcia and Danny Garcia.

3kingsboxing.com has learned that the two Garcia’s are the front runners to land a lucrative title opportunity.

Both men are multiple weight world champions. Mikey a four division and Danny a two division champ.

Mikey Garcia

Mikey hasn’t been in action since his resounding defeat to IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr in March. He dared to be great, yet was thoroughly beaten.

However, that loss didn’t deter the eagerness and willingness for the smaller Garcia to want another crack at an elite fighter in the welterweight division.

With only one defeat, he would seem to fair much better against an older adversary like Pacquiao. Although you may want to ask Keith Thurman how that worked for him.

Danny Garcia

The Philadelphia born Puerto Rican has envisioned himself sharing the squared circle with the legend. This could become a reality very soon depending on what Pacquiao decides to do.

The former WBC welterweight champion is coming off of a one-sided knockout destruction of Adrian Granados. Before that, he suffered a competitive, but clear decision loss to Shawn Porter in September 2018.

Now back to winning, Danny is a guy who’s made a name for himself with devastating knockouts from his patented left hook. He also has shown to possesses a granite chin.

His resume is also very good having fought the likes of Zab Judah, Lucas Matthyssee, Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Amir Kahn and Lamont Peterson.

So who’s it going to be for Pacquiao? Mikey Garcia or Danny Garcia?

Stay tuned to 3kingsboxing.com as we update on a final decision that’s expected to be made within the next month.

  1. Manny is in the drivers seat now. What Manny should do is have the winner between Errol Spence Vs Shawn Porter face off against Terrance Crawford, then fight the winner of that fight. Manny has one belt, while the other 3 are split up between those three other fighters. Manny could easily make it so one of those fighters has all three belts, making it easier for Manny to get a shot at all of them in one fight. Not to mention that Manny shouldnt have to fight all of them. Not at this point in his career. If Errol actually beats Porter, then give the fans the fight they have been asking for, Errol vs Crawford. Then the winner of that can set up the Mega payday showdown and a shot at Undisputed Unified Lineal Champion with Manny. Plus, Undisputed is something Manny has never been. Be nice if he could pull that off so late in his career. Crawford however would be a two time, two weight class Undisputed Unified Champion, basically locking his place up in the Hall of Fame. If they listen to me, someone is making history and easily ranked #1 P4P fighter in the world. In the meantime, while Manny is waiting for the winner of Crawford vs Errol/Porter, Manny can take a stay busy fight with either Danny or Mikey Garcia. Those are no cake walks, and they a good fights. Manny vs Mikey Garcia is more likely, bigger payday for Manny. Let me know what you think and maybe we can contact Bob Arum and Al Haymon and get this put together. Golden Boy would go for it if Oscar had all these welters. If Errol or Porter think they can beat Crawford, then take the fight….Manny owes you nothing.
