Mark Davis backs up Terence Crawford’s story
When WBC world featherweight champion “Mr.” Gary Russell Jr. (31-1, 18 KO’s) recently retold a thirteen year old story, he probably had no clue that it would become the sensation that it has.
WHAT WENT DOWN
Naturally, Bud was swift in his denial of the WBC champion’s description of what happened. As one would imagine, Crawford said it’s a complete fabrication that he got hit in the face and stood there either petrified with fear or dumbstruck in awe. Luckily, the winds of fate have blown a very valuable witness our way.
Via social media, Mark “Too Sharp” Davis (18-1, 5 KO’s) has materialized to supply his account on the now-notorious day:
“So they [Terence Crawford and Karl Dargan] get out the ring and Terence, he is a little frustrated after the spar, so him and Dynamite was talking noise all through the sparring. So when Terence got out he was mad already, he was talking shit still.”
“Then Gary [Russell] said something to Terence and then Terence was like, ‘Nigga, what you talking about? Mark just beat yo ass!’ So then they get to arguing and shit; they face to face, they get to arguing, Gary took off on Terence and hit him with a right hook!”
“Terence ate the bitch, you feel me?! He ain’t drop Terence or nothing and then they couldn’t fight because right after Gary took off on him the coaches and everybody grabbed Terence and grabbed Gary.”
LISTEN UP!
Before Davis concluded his account of that heated exchange he offered both Russell and Crawford a bit of present day advice!
“But long story short, man Gary Russell you better not get your motherfucking ass in the ring with Terence! He going to damn half kill your mothafucking ass boy! Yo motherfucking ass, you got to go fight Gervonta Davis, you got to go get that money. And Terence you got to go fight Errol Spence!”
“Y’all three weight classes from each other talking about fighting each other, man. Y’all niggas rich than a mothafucka, and for real, if that little argument wouldn’t happened in Colorado Springs that day after y’all sparred, then y’all would still be cool. So y’all need to let that shit go man, y’all need to let that shit go bruh, for real, on God!”
