James DeGale will return on the Victor Ortiz vs John Molina undercard
3kingsboxing.com has learned former IBF super middleweight champion James DeGale, will make his return on September 30. This will be an eight rounder on the undercard of Victor Ortiz vs John Molina Jr.
In August, Degale was reportedly in negotiations with WBA regular champion Rocky Fielding. However, negotiations have ceased for now and the former IBF champion will look to stay busy.
After, he says a big fight is on the horizon. Against whom you may ask? That wasn’t revealed. While there’s no word who that big fight opponent could be, the names to look for out are Chris Eubank Jr and the aforementioned Fielding.
Eubank Jr. is scheduled for a September 28 return against JJ McDonagh while Fielding’s return has not been determined.
This will be DeGale’s first since vacating the title he won back from Caleb Truax in their rematch in April.
