Deontay Wilder to Tyson Fury: “There was a rematch clause! Now it’s time to be a man and honor your word!”
Not much has been heard from former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (42-1-1, 41KOs) since his one-sided beat down turned stoppage loss at the hands of the “Gypsy King” Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21KOs) back in February.
However, the prideful champion has come out with major accusations hurled towards the WBC champion. As most may know there will no third fight between the two gigantic heavyweights. Unable to reach an agreement on a date, the rematch clause expired and Fury claims to be “moving on!”
WILDER SPEAKS AND ACCUSES FURY OF CHEATING!
In a two minute video posted on social media, Wilder released a biblical response while accusing his adversary of cheating.
“The Bible tells us silence is Golden, but my ears can still hear and my eyes can still see. The Bible also tells us to be Swift to hear and slow to speak.
“You see, what do you don’t understand thief. What you did, is what my people deal with all the time! Someone cheating them from providing their greatness to the world. But it’s a burden that we cut off only to make us stronger.
“So in the first fight when Ricky Hatton was pulling down your gloves to put your fist into a improper position, y’all tried the same method the second time. But this time y’all scratched flesh from my ears which caused my ears to bleed.
“It’s impossible for a brand new ten ounce glove to bend, to keep a smushed in form or to have loose-end space. I highly believe you put something hard in your gloves, something the size and the shape of an egg weight. This is the reason why the side of my face swelled up in a egg weight form and it left a dent in my face as well.
“But in the midst of it all you still couldn’t keep this king down. You would have had to kill me. In the end it took a ‘crab-in-the-bucket’ referee and a disloyal trainer to throw the towel in just to stop me.
“Proverbs the sixth chapter 30-31 says excuses may be found from a thief who steals because he is starving. But if he’s caught, he will have to pay back seven times what he stole even if he has to sell everything in his house.
“And payback is coming!”
It’s clear that Wilder believes every word of what he says…or does he? He has one mission and that is to exact revenge on Fury!
This statement is sure to cause major controversy which is what team Wilder wants. Fury also a prideful guy, may take this personal and instruct his team to restart negotiations to show the former champion that the second fight wasn’t a fluke!
I have a feeling that this is just the beginning of this sage between Wilder and Fury!
