Devin Haney and Jo Jo Diaz trade words on social media!
After making a successful debut in a sanctioned lightweight bout, former IBF junior lightweight champion Joseph “Jo Jo” Diaz (32-1-1, 15KOs) is ready to throw fists with WBC lightweight champion Devin “The Dream” Haney (26-0, 15KOs).

HANEY AND DIAZ RIP EACH OTHER ON SOCIAL MEDIA!
Less than 24 hours after beating Javier Fortuna by a unanimous decision to become the WBC Interim champion, Diaz was the subject of a disrespectful tweet from Devin Haney. Seemingly being asked by a fan if he had seen Diaz’s fight, the unbeaten champion responded by saying he didn’t watch Diaz’s sorry ass fight!
Obviously not one for lack of expression, Diaz responded back with a very disrespectful tone of his own.
He also told Haney he wants to fight by the end of the year, to which Haney suggested an October date.
Diaz, who’s ranked number three in the WBC, is in prime position for a title opportunity. Haney, who’s been dying for a big fight, seems more than happy to knuckle up with Diaz. With big fights eluding both guys, let’s see them settle their differences in the ring before 2021 ends.
3kingsboxing.com will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
