Dogboe has taken the boxing community by storm, as in his nickname “Royal Storm.” The transformation from contender to champion was on display in his first title defense.

Keys to victory:

Apply effective aggression, body punching and good footwork. There is also evidence of good boxing skills and patience in that he allows things to develop instead of rushing them.

Flaws:

Needs to move his head more, can be flat footed at times and keeps the head up a little too high.

The young champion is mentally tough and well conditioned. His belief and sheer determination helps him win fights.

Emanuel Navarrete

Navarrete has competed in a lot of fights at featherweight, although, against limited opposition. Still, he has been able to knockout his last eight opponents.

Fight like the bigger man, use the jab, move around the ring and attack the body.

Flaws:

Throws wide punches and can’t fight off the back foot. He also has balance issues.

Navarrete is tough and can punch. This will be his first world title opportunity of any kind.

Outcome

Dogboe wins. The ability to get inside, along with the body punching, will be too much. Also, the challenger coming down for this fight could play a huge role in the result.
