New super bantamweight champion ready to defend his title
Newly crowned WBO super bantamweight champion Isaac Dogboe is ready to return. After pulling off what many saw as an upset over previously undefeated WBO super bantamweight champion Jesse Magdaleno, Dogboe has his eyes set on the rest of the division.
3kingsboxing.comhas learned that the target return dates being looked at for Dogboe are August 18 and 25 on an ESPN card. Against who you may ask? That’s something we’re all wondering.
If you ask Dogboe himself he’d tell you he wants to face the rest of the champions in his division. But he didn’t rule out a possible rematch with Magdaleno either. In fact the two went back and forth on social media recently in which Dogboe said he’d be happy to give Magdaleno the rematch.
The undefeated Ghanaian has put the rest of the super bantamweight champions on notice, his goal is to become undisputed champion. So hopefully (IBF champ) Ryosuke Iwasa, (WBA champ) Daniel Roman and (WBC champ) Rey Vargas feel the same.
Regardless of who Dogboe faces next he’s must see tv. The combination of power, speed and a ferocious body assault makes him an absolute nightmare for anyone at 122.
