Dubois Wins By KO
On the undercard of DeGale/Truax from the Copper Box Arena in London, England unbeaten heavyweight prospect Daniel Dubois (5-0, 5 KO’s) faced Dorian Darch (12-5, 1 KO’s) in a 10 rounds heavyweight bout.
Dubois came out poised showing a great jab, and following it up with a straight right. In the late part of the first round Dubois would land a beautiful shot to the chin of Darch dropping him. Darch managed to survive the first and was bleeding underneath his right eye.
In the second Dubois came out to finish Darch putting a little more mustard on his shots. He hurt Darch with just about anything that landed dropping him twice in the round which caused the referee to stop the bout. Giving the unbeaten prospect 6 KOs in as many fights. Dubois showed excellent poise, a beautiful jab and good power as he continues his development. With not much work today my guess is the his promoter Frank Warren will get him back in the ring as soon as possible.
