Daniel Dubois Vows to Make Jarrell Miller Eat His Words!

When heavyweight contender “Dynamite” Daniel Dubois (19-2, 18 KO’s) next steps in the ring, he will have two assignments. The first, obviously, is to beat his opponent, Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (26-0-1, 22 KO’s). The second objective is to win in impressive fashion. While this may sound like common sense, this advice is based more on the fact that Dubois is coming directly off the second loss of his career.

The first time, he lost to Joe Joyce and then to unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. Unfortunately for him, Dynamite has been labeled a “quitter” on both occasions. This is a tag that he regularly hears from the public, and now he is getting the same tough time from Miller. Thankfully for him, Dubois insists that he couldn’t be worried less about the negative chatter.

“The loudmouth American, he fits that role, doesn’t he? It’s all good, it’s all a part of the game and that’s his style of fighting. Someone has got to do the talking, so let him get on with it . . . I’ll make him quit, that’s what I am going to do! We’re going to make him quit, turn it around on him. If we do our job properly, we will take his 0 away. ”

GO HARD OR GO HOME!

Truth be known, there could be a very steep drop off for whoever comes up short in this upcoming duel. As previously mentioned, Dubois already has garnered the reputation of someone who buckles under the pressure. Another loss, especially by stoppage, could catapult Dynamite into the realm of permanent gatekeeper which is surely something that the UK native doesn’t want.

At the same time, Miller is also treading along on rather thin ice. The Brooklyn native is extremely blessed to even be on such a high profile card, given that he is one of most prolific drug cheats of this boxing generation. To date, Miller has been caught doping on three separate occasions and typically with multiple substances. Despite the boldness and repetitive nature of his infractions, Miller has continued to always work his way back into the picture.

In this latest run for greatness, Dubious marks Miller’s first supposedly stringent test. So, if he fizzles Dynamite out – great. But if Miller struggles or takes a loss, then his career is likely to stall one more time. Losing more time is something that Big Baby simply can’t afford. Therefore, given the ‘must win’ nature of this scrap, it should prove to be one lively affair. No matter what transpires though, 3Kings Boxing will be here to report the news.
