Yarde Remains Unbeaten

Yarde Moves To 14-0

On BT sports Fight Night another highly touted unbeaten prospect Anthony Yarde (13-0,12 KO’s) took on Nicola Sjerkloca in a 10 round light heavyweight bout from the Copper Box Arena in London, England.

Yarde came out in round one throwing his jab and coming forward while trying to find his range. Both fighters seemed to feel each other out and Yarde ended the round with a few good shots.

In the second Yarde came out being more aggressive putting mental pressure on his opponent. He kept landing some beautiful shots on Sjerkloca who seemed to be breaking under the pressure. Yarde landed an uppercut followed by a beautiful short compact right that put his opponent on the canvas. In the third however Sjerkloca proved to be tough trading with Yarde and landing some shots of his own.

The fourth round started much like every other round with Yarde coming forward landing his jab putting a lot of pressure on Sjerkloca. He would go on to put Sjerkloca on the canvas once again with a series of power punches. Sjerkloca beat the ten count but was clearly wobbled and hurt. Yarde went in for the kill forcing the referee to step in and stop the fight. Giving Yarde another KO victory against an opponent that had never been stopped. It was another dominant win for Yarde and it will be interesting to see who he will face next.
