Berlanga makes quick work of Moon in one round!
Rising super middleweight prospect Edgar “The Chosen One” Berlanga (14-0, 14KOs) made quick work of Eric Moon (11-3, 6KOs), dispatching him in the first round.
Moon came out aggressively throwing power shots trying to get the respect of the highly touted prospect to no avail. Berlanga wasted no time returning fire by setting up his explosive shots behind his jab. Moments later, he trapped his opponent against the ropes and ripped off a body shot and two right hands that sent Moon crumbling down to the canvas unable to continue.
The win pushed Berlanga to fourteen consecutive knockout wins in the first round. This is a fighter to keep an eye on moving forward.
