Emiliano Moreno Remains Undefeated Against Cesar Francis


In a welterweight showdown, undefeated prospect Emiliano Moreno (12-0, 7KO) wins by controversial stoppage against Cesar “Rainman” Francis (13-3, 8KO).

The Rainman’s busy hands and movement gave Moreno problems in the early rounds. His ability to land sharp countershots forced Califorian to reset before attacking.

In the middle rounds, Moreno woke up and started finding a home for the right hand. Despite getting hit with the occasional counter-shot, he still managed to land the more significant punches.

Over the next few rounds, there was plenty of back and forth as both men were landing hard shots. Moreno picked up the pace and was applying pressure with fast combination punches. Yet, Francis continued to fight back and landed solid combination punches.

Round eight, brought heavy controversy as Moreno landed a series of hard shots that wobbled Francis. Without hesitation, the referee jumped in to stop the fight as the crowd booed the decision.

It was a terrible stoppage as Francis wasn’t seriously hurt and should have been allowed to continue to fight. Nonetheless Moreno picks up a the victory and hopefully Probox TV makes the rematch.
