Jaron “Boots” Ennis Returns to the Ring October 5
Rising welterweight prospect Jaron “Boots” Ennis returns to action on October 5. He will take on Demian Daniel Fernandez at the Dort Federal Event Center in Flint, Michigan according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Ennis – Fernandez will be aired live on Showtime on the undercard of the Women’s vacant WBO Junior Middleweight bout between Claressa Shields and Ivana Habazin.
For “Boots”, he’s looking forward to the opportunity to step back into the ring and to fight on Showtime.
“I can’t wait. I love fighting on Showtime, the world gets to see my talent each and every time I fight.”
Profiled by 3KingsBoxing in June 2018, Ennis (23-0, 21 KO’s) is one of the best prospects in boxing. He is a quick and athletic boxer with an ability to fight orthodox, as well as a southpaw. Also, the 22-year old from Philadelphia has stopped his last thirteen opponents.
Should he defeat Fernandez (12-1, 5 KO’s), “Boots” is looking to step up in competition. Tall for the division, the 5’ 10” Ennis says that after Fernandez, he’s looking to fight any welterweight in the top 15 ,or even a world champion. According to the self-assured Ennis, “I’m ready for any and everybody.”
