Talented Contender Erik Bazinyan is Ready for the World Stage
Despite being unknown to many boxing heads, super middleweight Erik Bazinyan (28-0, 21KO) is quickly climbing up the ranks. The undefeated Canadian is set to headline an Eye of the Tiger card when he returns on October 27. With another solid performance, he could join Christian Mbilli and Mary Spencer as a recent standout under Eye of the Tiger Management.

INTRODUCING ERIK BAZINYAN
Taking a gander at the rankings, Bazinyan is rated #5 WBA, #6 WBO, and #9 WBC. The talented 27-year-old honed his skills in the amateurs as part of the national team, winning the junior title for Armenia, his native country. Furthermore, he won two Canadian Golden Gloves and fought on the international teams for Canada and Armenia.
Bazinyan is a pure boxer with game-changing power who builds everything off the jab. He throws punches from different angles, has good footwork, and is defensibly responsible.
On June 23, he dominated tough Argentine fighter Marcelo Esteban Coceres, who dropped prospect Edgar Berlanga back in 2021. Some boxing fans may remember seeing him on the undercard of Vergil Ortiz Jr versus Brad Solomon back in 2019.
Although no opponent has been listed, Bazinyan is poised and capable of overcoming any challenge.
