Tevin Farmer and JoJo Diaz continue to beef over social media leading up to fight!

This topic seems to never get old! Fighters going back and forth on social media is a working formula for piquing the public interest. It is especially effective when a fight is finally made.
A perfect example is IBF junior lightweight champion Tevin “American Idol” Farmer (30-4-1, 6ko) making a fifth title defense against former title contender Joseph “JoJo” Diaz (30-1, 15ko).
Although the former title contender did defeat WBA “regular” champion, Jesus Rojas, back in 2018, missing the weight limit by one pound cost the California fighter the opportunity to become a world champion.
The 31-year-old is now on the hunt for a third attempt at becoming a champion and during the latter part of 2019, it was touch and go whether the fight with the IBF champion was going to happen.
However, now with the fight date inching closer, the more intense “war of words” exchange has become. The latest begins when the IBF champion putting those twitter fingers to work about playing patty cake with Diaz.
Even doubling down on the brash statement when fans reacted to the previous tweet even more emphatically.
It shouldn’t be a shocker to anyone what happened next. The words used by both fighters in this back and forth is what’s called “taking it to the streets.”
With all this aggressive talk, when they finally meet, it’s going to pop all the popcorn in the bag!
This is a must-see event that will be broadcast live on DAZN from the Meridian at Island Gardens, Miami, Florida on January 30.
