The Twitter pillow fight between Tevin Farmer and Gervonta Davis continues!
The Twitter beef between Gervonta “Tank” Davis and Tevin Farmer is still going strong following this latest salvo. From a boxing perspective, it would be great for the sport if both of them could come to an agreement to unify their IBF and WBA super featherweight titles.
Unfortunately, the two camps haven’t been able to bring a fight to fruition.
It seems the frustration of not being able to meet in the ring seemingly boiled over as Davis tweeted that with both of them fighting June 27, he would call him out.
He also stated that if Farmer wouldn’t accept his call out, he’d up the ante by knocking him out on sight wherever he saw him. Farmer responded via Twitter.
“Pussy you wouldn’t dare! We can meet whenever. We ain’t gotta wait til after no fight!”
Quite frankly, after waiting two years for these fighters to step in the ring, this social media tough guy talk has grown tiresome.
It seems that we’re more likely to get twelve rounds of “Saturday Night Sissy Fight” tweets than actual leather thrown in the ring.
Hopefully, for the fans, both DAZN and Mayweather Promotions can finally agree to terms and bring this bout to reality.
