Fundora Stops Booker and Calls for Murtazaliev Unification!
As many expected, WBC and WBO super welterweight champion Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora (22-1-1, 14 KO’s) made short work of Chordale “The Gift” Booker (23-2, 11 KO’s). The unified champion accomplished this by way of TKO, when referee Thomas Taylor was forced to intervene to save Booker from possible permanent harm in the fourth. Bakhram Murtazaliev is next on Fundora’s radar.
For the first two rounds, The Gift periodically would pot-shot Fundora to the mouth and belly while utilizing the ring impressively. Toward the end of the second however, the champ started feeling his range. He was cooking with gas in the third and by the fourth, heavy hooks and uppercuts had Booker’s whole night in suffocating flames.
Following the almost casual trouncing, Fundora expressed a keen desire to test his might against IBF 154-pound champion Bakhram Murtazaliev. This was due to his goal of becoming an undisputed champion. Having made that known, Fundora also articulated his willingness to fight any champion or top ranked challengers looking for a shot at his hardware.
