Fury Is Back!!

Former unified champion resigns with Warren

Looks like the former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is one step closer to his comeback. Fury will once again be working with Frank Warren and is expected to return to the ring on June 9th in Manchester.

Fury has been away from the ring for over 2 years. Last time we saw him was in November of 2015 when he defeated Wladimir Klitschko to become the IBO, WBA, IBF, WBO and The Lineal Heavyweight Champion of the world.

Talks of a comeback have been circulating for quite sometime now, he has had a lot of issues outside of the ring, between failed drug test and social media meltdowns. Fury was recently reinstated by the British Board and has been very vocal about wanting to comeback to the sport.

He has been all over social media showing his training videos and seems to be on his way to finally getting back in shape. It’s good to see he is finally taking things seriously.

The ultimate prize for Fury is a fight against unified champion Anthony Joshua of course. Joshua is currently in talks with WBC champion Deontay Wilder for a bout that will give us an undisputed champion for the first time since Lennox Lewis.
