Golden Boy moves forward following Canelo debacle
Golden Boy will be hosting an event at the Stub Hub Center in Carson, California. It will take place Friday May 4th and a couple of names have been added to the card.
3KingsBoxing.com has learned that Ryan Garcia will be making his return to the ring against Jayson Velez. Garcia will be the main attraction on the card. Garcia was slated to fight on the Saul “Canelo” Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin undercard but plans changed once that fight got cancelled.
Ironically Gary “Spike” O’Sullivan will be the co main event against boxing’s iron man TBA. Now, I say ironic because O’Sullivan was slated to be Alvarez replacement to face Golovkin but withdrew his name from consideration.
