Ryan Garcia Expects To Have An Easy Night Against Emmanuel Tagoe!
Things got heated between former WBC Interim lightweight champion Ryan “King Ry” Garcia (21-0, 18KOs) and Emmanuel Tagoe (32-1, 15KOs). After posing for pictures, the two men would come together for the traditional stare-down face-off. Everything seemed quite business as usual. That was until both men started exchanging words.

Not liking the words coming from each other’s mouths, both fighters got closer to each other’s faces and the words escalated to the point where the two men had to be separated. Garcia, who’s returning to the ring for the first time in over a year, heads into this bout as the favorite.
NO PROBLEMS HERE!
The Californian hard-hitter expects Tagoe to be easy work. King Ry laid his expectations out clearly following the exchange.
“I’m going to run right through him! That’s it! You know what I mean? He’s a guy who’s going to be there to fight; he’s going to be like one of those guys that’s fighting in survival mode from the get go. I mean, he’s going to be trying to jab, run around, do his little thing, but I’m pretty smart in there. So I’ll get to him and just start landing on him, and put a real bad beat down on him. “
Obviously, Tagoe shouldn’t be overlooked as he’s a solid fighter in his own right. However, if we’re being honest, he was brought in by Golden Boy for a reason. With Garcia being one of the fighters Oscar De La Hoya is banking on to carry his company into a new era, King Ry has to handle Tagoe with ease. If not, questions will arise about how good Garcia truly is.
We will see on April 9 if Garcia is able to stay true to his word and run through Tagoe.
