WBSS will stream Groves vs Eubank Jr to Facebook and YouTube in America
The World Boxing Super Series has been nothing short of brilliant, and as fight fans we have been treated to some fantastic action. But whilst the Series has roared onto TV screens across Europe, American fans have not been so fortunate as no TV deal is in place.
The great news for my friends over the pond is that this coming Saturday’s World Boxing Super Series Semi Final between WBA ‘Super’ Champion George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr will be available for all of you, without having to scour the internet looking for a reliable stream.
Whilst ITV Box Office will broadcast the show on PPV in the UK, this fight will also be streamed live on the World Boxing Super Series Facebook and YouTube pages for American viewers.
Having been at the press conference yesterday all I can say is that Eubank Jr looks supremely confident and I think that he has certainly got into the head of the slightly older, though more battle worn champion. Groves cut a cagey and curt figure, hoping to do all his talking in the ring. Groves was the #1 seed going into this tournament, but recent performances and the champions stamina issues place the favourite tag now firmly in the corner of the challenger.
The winner of the bout will head to London’s O2 Arena on June 2ndto meet either WBC ‘Diamond’ Champion Calum Smith or former Light Heavyweight Champion Jurgen Braehmer.
