Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia Trade Shots!

WBC junior welterweight champion Devin “The Dream” Haney (31-0, 15KO) and top contender “King” Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20KO) are back trying to make a fight again. The Dream is already dismissive of Garcia calling for a knockout when they meet.

The boxing community is growing tired of these two going back and forth. In an interview with Fight Hype, King Ryan revealed they re-engaged fight negotiations. Moreover, he sent a message to the father and trainer, Bill Haney.

“I’m telling Bill this now, and then I’ll probably have something for him later. He’s going to have three chances to stop the fight . . . So, I’m just telling you, you’re going to have three chances in the fight to help your son out.”

“If he’s [Haney] not knocked cold, this gonna get a lot worse.”

HE IS NOT WORRIED AT ALL

Haney is used to hearing King Ryan talk about stopping him. He took to social media to poke fun at the defensive move Garcia probably learned from Hall of Fame Inductee Floyd Mayweather.

“We heard this story before. Ima beat the shoulder roll outta u.”

The WBC champion has seen this movie before. Garcia will do a lot of talking only to go in a different direction. He was extremely upset when the Californian recently decided to forgo fighting him to pursue a fight with WBA champion Rolando “Rolly” Romero.

Haney is one of the top fighters in boxing, as some enthusiasts selected him for the 2023 Fighter of the Year award. There is no question that Haney versus Garcia could be one of the biggest fights in 2024. Fans are skeptical about the fight happening, while hoping they finally make it across the finish line.
