Devin Haney in serious talks with DAZN!
3kignsboxing.com has learned Devin “The Dream” Haney (21-0, 13KOs) is currently negotiating a deal that would make him an exclusive fighter on the DAZN platform! If the two parties come to an agreement, he will sign a multi-year deal with the fledgling company.
At this time, it is unknown if the fighter/promoter will have a separate deal involving dates and network slots for his promotional company, Devin Haney Promotions.
This news should come as no surprise since he has been viewed as a talent to watch dating back to his amateur days. Coached by his father, Bill Haney, the lightweight phenom has been courted by a number of promotional outfits, but has yet to make a home with any.
Furthermore, he is no stranger to the limelight. Not only has he remained a regular standout in the infamous Mayweather Boxing Club, his last three bouts were aired on Showtime.
Despite being sought after by PBC, Haney has remained a free agent. Yet, if these current plans stay the course, Haney will likely consummate the new deal with a May 25 prizefight on the Oleksandr Usyk vs Carlos Takam under-card.
