Tony Harrison vs Jermell Charlo rematch set for June 23

In what many felt was a controversial decision, Tony Harrison was announced as the winner over Jermell Charlo in their WBC championship fight in December 2018.

The two men will square off once again in a highly anticipated rematch. The sequel will take place June 23 on a PBC on FOX card.

In their first encounter, most observers saw Charlo as the clear winner; he appeared the aggressor and appeared to land the harder, cleaner punches. Conversely, fans who had no problem with the decision pointed out that Harrison appeared to dictate the pace, make Charlo miss, and effectively counter.

The Kronk gym protege has a chance to show the world the first fight wasn’t a fluke. Meanwhile, Charlo has a chance to show why many fans felt the first fight was a robbery.

June 23 will be a very good night of action!
