Hiroto Kyoguchi Making Moves!

Hiroto Kyoguchi looking to vacate title and move up in weight!

Kyoguchi (10-0, 7 KOs) will probably be vacating his IBF Minimumweight title and moving up to Junior Flyweight.

He recently expressed trouble with making weight. This naturally means a move up is common.

We last saw the champion in May; defending his title against Filipino fighter Vince Paras. He won the fight, making a second successful defense. Nonetheless, many felt his performance was sub par.

This could explain the need to move up, in hopes the decision would return him back to top form.

Trainer Takashi Inoue states

“He is only 24 years old so his body is getting bigger. I was shocked he was about to cramp up in the Paras fight. It was due to dehydration.”

Possible showdowns with WBC champion Ken Shiro, WBO champion Ryoichi Taguchi are mouth-watering!

The addition of Kiroguchi into the junior flyweight division definitely makes it more competitive.
