A final eliminator has been ordered for the IBF Super Middleweight Title between Rocky Fielding (26-1,14KO’s) and the undefeated Caleb Plant (17-0,10KO’s).
The bout will go to purse bid May 8th if an agreement can’t be reached. The winner will become the mandatory for the champion James DeGale.
Plant is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Rogelio “Porky” Medina in February. Plant crashed the press conference between Caleb Truax and DeGale, where he was involved in a heated exchange with the current IBF champion.
Fielding last fought in March beating Karel Horejsek on points.
A purse bid is more likely to happen over a deal being immediately reached.
