Inoue Advances to WBSS Semi-Final
The monster Naoya Inoue made it look easy yet again! He absolutely destroyed former WBA bantamweight champion Juan Carlos Payano.
Both men came out jabbing trying to establish distance. Payano managed to land a solid left on Inoue. However, seconds later, Inoue threw a jab followed by a beautifully placed right hand that sent the former champion down and out!
What a way to kickoff off the WBSS bantamweight tournament! Inoue improves his record to (17-0, 15KOs).
He now awaits the winner of Emmanuel Rodriguez vs Jason Moloney in the semi-finals!
