Badou Jack wants decision in first fight with Jean Pascal reversed after multiple failed drug test!
Former two-division world champion Badou “The Ripper” Jack (23-3-3, 13KOs) had been gearing up to face rival Jean Pascal (35-6-1, 20KOs) on June 6. However, after failing four drug tests, the soon to be former champion was effectively withdrawn from the fight. Both Jack and Pascal waged close battle back in December of 2019, only to see Pascal eke out a close and somewhat controversial split decision victory to win the WBA regular light heavyweight title.

Always feeling he won their initial tussle, the Netherlands fighter wants the result of their first encounter changed to a victory for himself. He told 3kingsboxing.com affiliate Ricardo Mohammed of Brawlers Sports Media the following.
“It’s very disappointing. I wanted to get my win on paper. I already beat him, but it is what it is. Hopefully they can overturn that, give me that win for the first fight, when he tested positive a long time ago.”
While I doubt the decision from the first fight will be overturned, Jack’s previous suspicion of Pascal’s drug usage was confirmed this go around. Now, Jack turns his attention to unbeaten Dervin Colina (15-0, 13KOs).
Ranked number 11 in the IBF and number 3 in the WBC, Jack will look to move closer to another world title opportunity at some point in 2021 or 2022. Now, not unlike the previous Pascal fight, this Colina fight is a must-win for the 37 year old former champion.
