Fortuna looking at the scale in bewilderment
In a strange turn of events Javier Fortuna, the shorter, smaller man that is moving up a division missed weight. Fortuna weighed in at 136.8lbs. Robert Easter Jr stepped on the scale a half pound under the 135lb limit at 134.5
Fortuna, a former featherweight and super featherweight, has never weighed over 134.5lbs and his making just his third appearance, out of 34 fights, at the lightweight limit.
When asked why he felt he came in overweight the Dominican native blamed it on the climate difference between his homeland and New York.
