Jorge Chavez Seizes UD Victory In Rematch With Manuel Flores!

Jorge Chavez Kicks Off 2026 With Sweet Victory

Jorge Chavez Wins Rematch with Manuel Flores

In his latest tour of duty, super bantamweight boxer Jorge Chavez (15-0-1, 8 KO’s) defeated Manuel Flores (20-2-1, 16 KO’s) by way of unanimous decision. This was an extremely satisfying win seeing as it was an immediate rematch for their July 24, 2025 majority draw.

Similar to their first affair, the second battle was a competitive duel that was stuffed full of momentum shifts. This time however, the judges gave the nod to Chavez who did not fade down the stretch, as was the case in their premiere duel. Instead, Chavez maintained his vigor and took the fight to Flores.

With the victory secure, it will be interesting to see who Chavez opts to challenge in his next outing. Presently, the Mexican bruiser is not stationed in the top 15 of any of the four major sanctioning bodies’ rankings. Ideally, whoever that opposition ends up being, they will be able to mirror the excitement and competitiveness of his rematch with Flores.
