Joe Joyce-Daniel Dubois set for April 18?
3kingsboxing.com has learned that an intriguing heavyweight clash between two unbeaten hard-hitters is all but a done deal.
Joe Joyce (10-0, 9KOs) has reportedly agreed to terms for a clash with fellow unbeaten top British prospect Daniel Dubois (14-0, 13KOs) to be staged April 18 at the O2 Arena.
While this is great news, don’t get too excited just yet. While Joyce has reportedly signed his portion of the deal, Dubois’ signature is currently missing. This is not to say that the man known as “Dynamite” isn’t going to follow suit. This just means he hasn’t yet put pen to paper.
Another option also presents itself for Joyce, as he and Filip Hrgovic have been ordered by the EBU to fight for their vacant European Heavyweight title.
Hrgovic is also an unbeaten talented heavyweight looking to make a move up the rankings in 2020. He boasts a record of 10-0, 8 KOs and is a former 2016 Olympic Bronze Medalists.
Let’s hope that Dubois signs his portion of the contract so we can really see who’s the man when it comes to “Dynamite” and The “Juggernaut”.
3kingsboxing.com will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
